St. Vincent de Paul North Idaho HELP Center A Hud Envision Center

The first HUD EnVision Center in Idaho and the largest homeless and ALICE serving agency in North Idaho assisting over 6,000 unduplicated individuals annually.

Since 1949 we have served the region by offering the only Men’s Emergency Shelter (12 beds), Woman & Children’s Shelter (12 beds), commercial kitchen, 54 units of transitional housing, Trinity Group Homes for clients with persistent mental disorders, over 250 units of affordable housing and a nighttime Winter Warming Shelter (60 beds).

Home to the region’s only HELP Center [Helping Empower Local People] – a “one stop shop” that is home to a dozen social service programs, all under one roof.

Programs to include: ICARE (parenting and child abuse prevention), large scale Child Nutrition Programs, case management, voucher program for utility and rental assistance, Payee Services, Legal Link, Veteran Services, Senior Housing, Housing First, Rapid Rehousing and three retail Thrift Stores.
