SOA - DHSS - Division of Public Health - Dillingham Public Health Center

Dillingham Public Health Nursing is involved with multiple community partners to support health of the Bristol Bay region. Public Health Nurses work with civic and tribal leaders to evaluate infrastructure for activity and safety such as implementing Safe Routes to Schools, planning for bike paths, improving access to services that are readily available in larger areas. Our nurses provide health education both in schools and at community events that support healthy lifestyles and positive choices, emergency preparedness, domestic violence awareness, immunizations and disease prevention among others.
