Craig Public Health Nursing is especially involved with the schools in the Prince of Wales communities. Our nurses provide health education both in schools and at extracurricular events all over the island, such as healthy lifestyles, paralytic shellfish poisoning, water and boating safety, emergency preparedness, domestic violence, and “Health Talks,” to name a few. The public health nurses also provide vision, hearing, TB, and developmental screenings in schools and at community events.
