The Murtaugh School District is a progressive rural district serving approximately 400 students in grades PreK–12. The District boasts excellent facilities, instructional staff and the best technology. Murtaugh is a 2018 Title I Distinguished School recipient, recognized for closing the achievement gap and making aggressive gains in student achievement.

Murtaugh offers preschool to all four year olds, full time kindergarten, one to one devices, aquaculture, health occupation, dual credits among many other student opportunities.
