Fairbanks Senior Center, officially entitled The North Star Council on Aging , is a non-profit organization established in 1973. We are supported by volunteer workers and private and corporate donations. Federal, State and local government grants help defray a portion of our costs.

They feed the community through our food distribution every Friday from 7:00p – 8:30p.

Manages a food distribution site for the Fairbanks Community Food Bank. Accepts food box requests and provides the pick up site for same day pick up.

The Fairbanks Community Food Bank collects and re-distributes donated food to individuals and agencies. Food is distributed through many programs including Food Boxes, Bone Builders, and Agency Shopping.
