VCOA supports Central Vermonters to live with dignity and choice.

We maintain a Thrift Shop as a service to the community and financial assistance for the church. It is staffed by volunteers from the church, and has clothing as well as some household items, toys, and books at a very reasonable cost.

Joseph's House is able to assist with a variety of needs, such as utility shut-offs, food and laundry vouchers, clothing vouchers, bus passes and personal hygiene items. We also refer clients to other agencies and help advocate when possible.

Our services include housing, food, and fuel assistance, financial education, child care services, emergency housing, housing advocacy and more for low-income community members.

Head Start is a federally funded, collaborative preschool program that provides services to all children (ages 3-5), including children with disabilities and non-English speaking families, and families in Windsor County.

NEKCA understands the many challenges people in our communities are faced with and delivers services in a non-judgmental way. We also do our best to meet the immediate needs of individuals and families with regard to basic and necessary services.
